The twinplex XT is a highly effective Chipset waterblock with a micro-structure cooling design derived from our cuplex XT di-series. As for all other waterblocks of the twinplex series the cooling plate is made from highly purified copper which effectively transmits the heat with its fine cooling structure absorbed from the Chip onto the coolant. Other than the twinplex Pro the twinplex XT's design centrally directs the flow of coolant onto the baseplate which allows an improvement in cooling performance. The flexible mounting concept is identical to the twinplex and twinplex pro waterblocks and is based on a stainless steel plate which can also easily be replaced to allow long-lasting compatibility. Between copper base, middle part and the Plexi cover only long-lived O-ring seals are used which can also be replaced easily and quickly if necessary or desired. The pattern of the micro-structure machined into the cooling plate is the perfect compromise between a very low flow resistance and great cooling performance. Additionally the clogging of the cooling structure known from many fine-structured waterblocks is effectively prevented.
