Without doubt the Taiwanese cooling supplies manufacturer Thermalright is one of the most renowned of it's trade- Almost every product sets a benchmark for a whole generation of coolers. With outstanding continuity Thermalright continues to apply their level of quality and performance and now presents a series of outstanding 120mm fans which are based on the fluid dynamic bearing technology, a special technology which was developed in japan and is based on a  special, fluid-based floating bearing.

The model listed here has a nominal speed of 1000rpm. Due to the perfectly constructed bearing the fan still circulates approximately 67 m³ of air in one hour at an incredibly low noise level. Therefore this FDB fan offers the perfect balance between noise emission and Airflow.  The FDB bearing  also ensures operation with only little vibration, therefore only little noise is transmitted onto e.g. the case. The fan can be used either as a quiet CPU fan or relia case fan.

The fan's speed can be monitored via the Mainboard or a fan controller capable of interpreting the rpm signal which is transmitted via the 3-Pin Molex plug of the fan.
