The evolution of the well-known Alphacool Coolplex redefines the term reservoir.7
More volume, more diameter, mire light, flow, effects and much more.

The features of the Coolplex were improved and further features were added. The 60mm diameter and "50mm length of the smallest version do not only result in a higher volume but the proportions of the reservoir now look more pleasing to the eye. To minimize the flow obstruction of the reservoir G3/8" threads were used which even allow the effective use of fitting with an inner diameter of 8mm, 10mm or even more. The riser tube has an inner diameter of 12mm to additionally reduce flow resistance.

Another old problem was eliminated: The riser tube of the old Coolplex series made refilling or opening during operation difficult due to its vertical riser tube opening. Ball valves or hose clamps were often required to allow filling during system operation. The cyclone reservoir has eliminated this problem by redirecting the opening by 90° horizontally.

The angled and revolvable opening of the riser tube has another effect: The horizontal direction of flow allows the creation of a swirling effect inside of the reservoir depending of the flow rate of the system. if this effect is not desired the flow can also simply be directed directly onto the side of the reservoir. Depending on the fill level this will create a moving water surface but no swirl.

To illuminate these effects two G1/4" lighting modules can be used.
