The Heatplate is double-milled, smoothed and ground off in ordered granulation sizes. Therefore the baseplate is perfectly optimized for thermal applications, not only for looks which often deceive. For a perfectly plane surface the waterblock is also not polished, as polishing is done with tools with undefined surface properties which often destroys the evenness of the surface. Due to all these perfectly executed manufacturing methods this is one of the most powerful waterblocks available! For optimal results only highly purified, vented and thermally treated stranded copper is used. The PQ-PLUS waterblocks are so-called cross-flooding waterblocks which means that the flow of coolant is directed at high speeds at an angle across the heat source. The ultra-fine fins therefore draw heat away from the baseplate extremely quickly. The flow is strictly laminar thanks to the Speedchannel diameters.

The top of this waterblock is made from a brass alloy. This ensures maximal safety: No melting, crackign of threads or even the whole plate: This top ensures top-notch reliability and safety!
