Backplate for cooling of the rear RAM modules.

This cooler from EK Waterblocks is made with excellent quality and design, just as usual from EK. The cooling plate is even and polished to a mirror finish. Small raised surfaces for the RAM modules are integrated. The holes for mounting of the main waterblock are also surrounded by a raised ring which serves as a spacer to the components on the back of the card. The backplate is Crossfire capable, which means that multiple cards can be cooled even with this backplate in place.

This waterblock is compatible with all HD5850 and HD5870 graphics cards in reference design.
