Paypal is an online financial service Provider allowing almost instant payment between Paypal-accounts. Furthermore Paypal gives (to a certain extent) buyer protection. To use benefit from these advantages it is necessary that the customer already possesses a Paypal-account and also that the customer already payed in the required amount of money via bank transfer or has activated payment by direct debit. The experienced user common to the conditions and processes within Paypal has a very comfortable tool for payment at hand. The following information is intended for customers who do not yet own a Paypal account and are not sure if to chose ''bank transfer'' or ''payment via Paypal'' as the method of payment.

Unfortunately the use of Paypal sometimes causes issues for both the buyer and seller. This costs us time and money and leads in such cases to a delayed shipment after multiple inquiries, repeated payments and a continuous see-saw with paypal. We already had frustrated customers who canceled their orders with Paypal to use bank transfer as the method of payment. The reason always was a lack of knowledge about the process behind paypal-payments. For that reason we made this small overview over the´principles of payment via Paypal:

IMPORTANT: The opening of a Paypal account is not sufficient to make immediate payments. If you did not use Paypal before, we have collected the following information for you:

Processing of a Paypal-payment for a new customer:

1. You place your order at our store

2. You are redirected to Paypal

3. You open a Paypal account

4. You initiate payment through Paypal

5. Payment cannot be processed, as there is no balance on the Paypal-account

6. You return to the store, your order is finished

7. You pay the required amount onto the Paypal-account via Bank transfer

8. Paypal transfers the amount onto your account

9. Your order can be processed

Processing of an order via bank transfer:

1. You place your order at our store

2. Your receive our bank account information via Email

3. You transfer the required amount onto our bank account

4. Your order can be shipped

Customers who already have a Paypal-Account for an extended amount of time can also choose payment via direct debit or pay the bill with balance on the account. Both ways allow for a transfer within seconds and is for both you and us advantageous.

Our conclusion:

The user common to Paypal can benefit from its comfort of use. For new customers Paypal means:

• Additional registration with Paypal
• Bank transfer is still necessary (to Paypal)
• Payment may often take longer than a direct bank transfer (onto our bank account)

For the most common issue we prepared the following solution:

Sometimes we receive payment by Paypal without an associated order. The proper order of operations is as follows:

1. You add merchandise to your shopping cart and start the process of ordering.

2. You choose ''Paypal'' as the payment method of choice.

3. You are redirected (in the same Browser-window) to Paypal to verify your account data and to             approve payment.

4. After confirmation of payment you are directed back to our Aquatuning store to finish your order.

5.Your order is now logged into the shop-system so that your order can be processed as soon as           your payment arrives.

The most common mistake is that customers verify their Paypal payment but forget to finalize their order in the Aquatuning store. The process of ordering is not finished with the redirection to the Paypal site, you have to verify payment and then return to our store to approve your order.

The usually automatic redirection can be hindered by Browser- or Paypal-issues. This causes payment without an order being in place. In this case we kindly ask you to again make the order and choose ''Bank transfer'' as the payment method. The payment with Paypal can still be assigned to your name so that delivery can follow as soon as possible. 

Before implementing it we tested the Paypal payment method multiple times, and it was always created a Paypal payment as well as a order from our store. If processing of your order does not function correctly we kindly ask for your understanding as it is not a fault of Aquatuning.
